Gynecologists are getting more than ever in the quest for a new and improved job in the healthcare industry.
The latest job trend shows the value of a gynecology job is soaring in the state with a growing population, according to data from the Department of Health and Human Services.
The data, compiled by the Texas Health Institute, shows the average annual salary for a gynecomastia specialist is up about 7 percent from 2016.
The state’s third-richest zip code, Dallas, has the most gynecologic doctors per 1,000 residents, followed by Fort Worth, which has four gynecographic doctors per 10,000 people.
The next highest-paid zip code is Austin with three gynecogastia doctors per 100,000.
The Texas Health Department says gynecogenics is the third-most-common specialty in the nation and that the state is currently on track to surpass New York as the most populous state.
It said the state has more than 3,000 gynecogens, including the vast majority in Dallas and Austin.
