Woman dies after being left alone in car for 10 minutes

Laredo, Texas — A woman died after being taken to a gynecology clinic in Laredon, Texas, and left in a car for nearly 10 minutes, according to police.

Laredogans Department of Public Safety reported the woman was found unconscious and unresponsive at the scene in the city’s downtown.

LASD said the woman died at the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police have not released a motive.

They also did not release the names of the woman’s alleged assailants.

The department did not immediately release a statement.

The Department of Emergency Medical Services said it responded to a call for an unknown patient at about 2:50 p.m.

Saturday in the 6300 block of South Mound Street, just south of downtown.

The caller reported that a woman had been left in the vehicle for 10 to 15 minutes, and was not breathing.

She was unresponsive and was taken to the emergency room at Laredodem, according with EMS spokesman Steve White.

EMS took the woman to Laredoc Regional Medical Center in Largo, where her death was confirmed as a homicide, according.

White said the investigation into the woman�s death is ongoing.
